Brooches are one of those accessories that can feel extremely dated and tacky. Oversized bling and kitsch shapes can make them feel gaudy or extremely dated (and not in an elegant, vintage sort of way).
Stranger left for the dock early in the morning. It was the time when the mist was the thickest, when the island would show… if it were there.
