I’m not sure when my love of hats started, but I can remember owning and wearing anything from bucket hats to vintage caps growing up.
When we had an over 70 degree day and I was strong enough to do a photoshoot this outfit was the first on my list.
It was an incredibly warm day in January, and the sky was prone to frequent drizzles. I had pieced together this outfit and wanted to shoot it for the blog, but soggy earth and limited energy left me unable to go very far from home.
Brooches are one of those accessories that can feel extremely dated and tacky. Oversized bling and kitsch shapes can make them feel gaudy or extremely dated (and not in an elegant, vintage sort of way).
