When we had an over 70 degree day and I was strong enough to do a photoshoot this outfit was the first on my list. I love the color combination—it’s unusual, and the texture play of sequins, tulle, and knit is so fun. This top is one of my favorite warm weather tops and I wish I had twenty of them so I could have it forever.
The skirt is Anthropologie, and one I thought I would never own. I remember getting the holiday catalog and seeing it and I turned the page immediately. I knew it was way out of my price range and I thought that it would sell out long before it would reach a price I could afford. Rather than get caught up wanting something I couldn’t have I set it aside.
But God likes to surprise me with the best clearance finds, and I found this on sale on sale at my local Anthropologie sometime after Christmas. The only one, nothing wrong, and it was my size. (And I had money from my birthday so I could purchase it.)
It was a big encouragement to me, and more than just a skirt. I’ve said how Lyme makes me feel like I’ve missed out on a lot of life, but God likes to surprise me with good things and remind me that even though I don’t have the health and life others have he can still surprise me with something ‘impossible’.
I’m happy to see some warm weather again this week so I’m hoping for more photo shoots.
